Access Recovery
Our Access Recovery will repair any Access Tables, Queries, Forms, Reports, Macros, Modules and recover Access Databases. We are able to repair corrupt access database files from all versions of Access including, Access 2.0, Access 97, Access 2000, Access 2002 and Access 2003. If the standard compact and repair doesn't fix your Access database, then you probably have a problem that requires an Access Database Recovery.

If you are unable to access your database due to hardware problems such as a failed computer system or an unreadable hard disk we can help retrieve your Access Database files. We provide a full data recovery service should you experience hardware problems.

Our target for Access Recovery is 24 hours but in reality we are able to fix Access databases within two or three hours in most instances. If the Database repair requires a hard disk recovery then it will take longer.

Access Database Corruption can be caused by many factors. The most typical are; Not exiting MS Access correctly; terminating the program; System crashes; general power failure. Often system hangs can force you to power off and cause file corruption. When corruption does occur some of the error messages that are issued can be a little misleading and frequently disguise the fact that you have a corrupt Database.

A few examples of Access messages that may indicate a corrupt database are:
  • Microsoft Access has encountered a problem and needs to close
  • Unrecognized Database Format
  • Enter database password - even though none was set up
  • Program crashes with error message 'Invalid Page Fault/GPF' when opening the mdb file
  • Record file is crashed
  • Unexpected end of file
  • Program halted. Database error
  • You do not have the necessary permissions to open this object. Please contact your system administrator

FASTPASS - Recoveries are usually processed on a First Come basis. It is possible to queue jump by purchasing a Fastpass for £40. This is only available on Hard disk recoveries.

Payment can be by credit card, bank transfer or cheque. When payment is received we will complete the recovery by copying the data to a suitable media.

NO FIX - NO FEE.    If we are unable to recover any data we do not charge.
