CD Recovery

CD Recovery

Our CD Recovery service can Recover CD data from any type of damaged, scratched or defective CD. The most common cause of an unreadable CD is damage to the reflective layers (on the top of the CD-ROM), which can result in the entire CD-ROM becoming unreadable. CD's can have physical damage such as bubbles, scratches, cracks, smears or warping. Many CD recovery problems are simply due to fingerprints that distort the ability of the laser to accurately read the disk. We rescue CD files from any type of CD disk.

CD recovery is often required when the file or disk structure has become damaged and the CD cannot be read. Software corruption can occur if the CD writing process is interrupted by a system crash or program failure. Sometimes CD's are accidentally formatted or erased. It is very easy to delete data on a CD and realise later that it is still required. There are many types of CD errors issued when a disk cannot be read. Often CD errors are confusing and sometimes misleading. Our Data Recovery service can rescue CD data created with drag and drop or packet writing software applications.

The CD recovery service is able to recover data from most CD disk formats including CD, CD-i, VCD, SVCD, SACD, CD-ROM, CD-ROM XA, CD-R, CD-RW, CD-MRW.

If unusual noises are heard from the CD drive it is possible that the CD drive may have an error or the CD is incompatible with the device. Not all CD file formats can be read by all operating systems or CD / DVD drives. Please check CD labels for compatibility information.
